About Me If you got this far you must be really curious about me. Now now, let's not forget curiosity killed the cat. Right, anyway. I hail from the vast state of Rhode Island where I spent the first 22 years of my life. After growing up in the colonial town of East Greenwich I then hit the "big city" and shipped off to our grand state capital, Providence, to study at the renowned Brown University. While at Brown I studied (among a smattering of other classical subjects) Computer Engineering and Multimedia Signal Processing, in which I received my Sc.B. in 2002. After graduation I worked briefly in the beverage industry at The Front Page in London, England. I then moved to Darmstadt, Germany where I did a "pre-doc" at the Fraunhofer Center for Research in Computer Graphics. Now I'm back to the states and diggin' the southern culture in Atlanta... What I like? Funny. Sarcastic. Smart. Beer. I like clever movies and books, reading them and watching them alike. I enjoy going to cabaret theater or seeing the occasional improv set. I study languages such as German, Spanish, French, and Greek. I also like traveling and exploring culture in a general and specific sense. |
